I Keep Getting Forwarded to the Login Page
AD&D Toolkit is useful in that it is customized to your Dungeons & Dragons (dnd) Characters and Campaigns. The site needs to know who you are in order to store and recall that data. To be recognized, you need an account. Never fear! You need nothing more than a valid email address to Register an Account. If you have any other questions, you can refer to our Privacy Policy page.
I Didn't Get a Registration Email
If you didn't receive a Registration Email after registering your account, look in your spam folder. Your mail service provider may have erroneously marked it as spam. It might help with future emails to add AD&D Toolkit<adndtoolkit@gmail.com> to your email Contact List. If you still don't get an email, Create a Support Ticket on our discord and we will resolve the issue with you.
Donation Issues
When you make a donation to the AD&D Toolkit project, you should Create a Support Ticket on our discord and we handle any concerns you have. Changes to your account are not immediate.
Problems With How The Website Looks
AD&D Toolkit is often improved. Some browsers do not show all of the changes made if you have a piece(s) of an older version of the code stored in your browser's cache("short-term memory"). There is not much a developer can do about that. Some browsers are worse than others. But in all of them you can clear your cache to retrieve the most up-to-date version of the website yourself. Clearing cache is a bit different from one browser to the next. In Chrome, for instance, pressing 'Ctrl' + 'Shift' + 'R' all at the same time forces the browser to bypass cache and download the latest code files. You can simply Google step-by-step instructions for your browser with a search like, "How do I clear my browser cache in Firefox?".
Characters Aren't Displaying in My AD&D Campaign
Players need to click the CAMPAIGN link for each Character they want to join your Campaign. This brings them to the Select New Campaign screen where they can enter the password you provide them. Once they have done that, they should go back to the My Characters page and click ACTIVATE to indicate their Character is ready to engage.
Campaign Images Aren't Displaying in My AD&D Campaign
You can only use images stored on Google Drive. Once you have an image uploaded to your Drive, be sure that it has PUBLIC sharing privileges. Then select "copy link" for the image you want to share and paste it in the Add Image form field.
It should look something like this: "https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxl4Z1Dx71akOEJLFHGSOVNUygk/view?usp=drive_link&resourcekey=0-tENvB7nEAiuY4kRQ7daigQ".
Your players can view active images on their Character Sheet.
Why Are Days Added Onto My AD&D Campaign?
In your Campaign General Details you can choose to Allow Day Multiplier. If active, in-game time will pass with each new day in the real world. This can serve to motivate everyone to not allow too much time to pass without making time for play. It also engages a few behind-the-scenes mechanics like characters contracting diseases and accruing monthly expenses for your players.
