What is AD&D Toolkit?

AD&D Toolkit is a collection of tools for Dungeon Masters that integrates seamlessly with digital Character Sheets. It is not a VTT. Its a digital assistant for DMs and Players. It greatly enhances both in-person and online play by speeding up and automating the more interesting, yet cumbersome mechanics of AD&D. Toolkit adheres to and supports Core Manuals(DMG and PHB) for AD&D First Edition(1e), Unearthed Arcana(1e), AD&D Second Edition(2e), and even some optional additions from supplements and homebrew creations.

Respect for Analog Table Play

AD&D Toolkit respects the culture of the game and your personal way of playing. The DM tools are modular so you can choose what you use and what you don't. There are Settings toggles the DM can enable or disable according to preference per campaign. You're not "locked into a system". Most die rolls are automated but editable should you wish to use your own physical dice. The application works equally well for in-person and online games.

With AD&D Toolkit your players create robust character sheets and have all of their stats saved in our database. This allows the DM to display any character sheet at any time for easy reference. DMs can create Campaigns and connect with their player Character Sheets for integration of the entire party's statistics into the DM tools(Modules). Many adventure related values such as Character Encumbrance, consequent Movement rate, and Surprise bonuses/penalties are automatically imported into a number of modular DM tools. For instance, a comprehensive encounter Surprise module automatically imports Race and Class bonuses from Character Sheets.
